TPUs, Tech Titans, & Telepresence
LFG Ventures presents a weekly newsletter delivering private market (pre-IPO) insights and signals across tech and frontier industries.

Hello Friends,
From humanoids to hyperscale, the frontier keeps expanding. Anthropic just locked in a million TPUs from Google, cementing its spot in the infrastructure arms race. Neo Robotics wants a humanoid in your living room by 2026, while Lambda is building a 100 MW AI factory in Kansas City ahead of a likely IPO. Musk’s xAI dropped Grokipedia to counter what he calls “woke Wikipedia,” and OpenAI teamed up with PayPal to make ChatGPT shoppable. Each move signals the same thing. AI is no longer a single category, it is a full-stack ecosystem stretching from chip foundries to checkout flows.
Here’s whats moving.

🧠 Anthropic Taps Google for a Million TPUs
Anthropic signed a major partnership with Google Cloud to access up to one million TPU chips and over one gigawatt of computing power beginning in 2026. This deal signals that the infrastructure war for foundational AI is escalating and the cost of scale is soaring. With Claude in enterprise focus mode, this kind of muscle puts Anthropic in a stronger race against the incumbents. Reuters
🤖 Neo Humanoid Preps for Life at Home
The 1X NEO humanoid robot is gearing up for release in 2026 with a $20,000 price tag and promise to handle chores via teleoperation and AI learning. It runs on a 0.75 kWh battery and costs less than $1/day to operate under standard rates, making it one of the first “affordable” home robots in the humanoid class. If the tech holds up, expect this category to begin attracting serious consumer and enterprise interest. The robots are already here and we are following closely. Release video below. 1X

📓 Musk Officially Launches Grokipedia
Elon Musk’s Grokipedia went live this week with more than 800,000 AI-generated articles built by his company xAI. The platform aims to reimagine Wikipedia through real-time updates and conversational context powered by Grok. Musk has positioned it as a counterweight to what he calls Wikipedia’s political bias, offering users an alternative source of “unfiltered” knowledge. While critics question accuracy and neutrality, Grokipedia marks an ambitious step toward a more dynamic, AI-native knowledge layer. Associated Press
🏭 Lambda Launches in Kansas City
AI infrastructure leader Lambda is converting a former 2009-built facility in Kansas City into a massive AI factory, starting at 24 MW in early 2026 and scaling to more than 100 MW with over 10,000 NVIDIA GPUs. The buildout cements Lambda’s role as one of the few U.S. companies controlling both AI compute and distribution, a critical advantage as global demand for GPU access skyrockets. With its IPO filing on the horizon, this expansion signals confidence in the company’s position at the center of the AI infrastructure race and the next phase of domestic industrialization. Lambda
🛍️ PayPal Partners with OpenAI
Never one to let a week go by without a major announcement, OpenAI is teaming up with PayPal to let millions of ChatGPT users shop and check out directly inside the chat interface using PayPal’s wallet and built-in protections. The partnership turns ChatGPT from a conversational tool into a full-fledged commerce platform while opening PayPal’s vast merchant network to AI-native transactions. Launching in 2026, merchants using PayPal will automatically become discoverable in ChatGPT, marking a major step toward the next era of integrated, AI-driven commerce. PayPal

🚗 Teslas Real Product Isn’t Cars
In Tesla’s recent Q3 earnings call, Musk outlined the long game to transform Tesla from a car company into an AI-powered mobility platform. Each vehicle becomes part of a global network generating recurring revenue through robotaxis, FSD subscriptions, and data-driven services. Every mile driven trains Tesla’s AI, strengthening its autonomy edge and deepening the moat. If it plays out as outlined, Tesla’s real product won’t be cars, it will be the network itself.
Elon Musk came up with a pretty incredible idea during the Q3 Earnings Call, that no one is really talking about.
His words: “Actually, one of the things I thought, if we've got all these cars that maybe are bored, while they're sort of, if they are bored, we could actually
